Welcome to Perdu ...

So far, we found very little information about Perdu. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Perdu to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Perdu - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Perdu, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Perdu , we believe that it would have been located within present day Deuel County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Perdu, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was on a map dated 1895.

Time Zone: The area where Perdu was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Perdu was on a map titled Map of Nebraska (from Rand McNally, 1895).
