While we don't have the exact location of Mira Creek , we believe that it would have been located within present day Valley County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Mira Creek, you might consider that their post office opened in 1877.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Mira Creek was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Mira Creek post office opened in 1877.

We also found Mira Creek on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Nebraska (1895).
