Welcome to Mayflower ...

So far, we found very little information about Mayflower. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Mayflower to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Mayflower - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Mayflower, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Mayflower , we believe that it would have been located within present day Adams County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Mayflower, you might consider that their post office opened in 1877.

Time Zone: The area where Mayflower was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

Mayflower would have been located in the (402) & (531)<3> area codes.

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 15 communities that are also named Mayflower - they are located in Alabama, Arkansas, California (3), Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nova Scotia, Tennessee, Texas (2) and Virginia (2).

Adding Mayflower to Our Gazetteer ...

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Mayflower was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>

From that list, the Mayflower post office opened in 1877.

We also found Mayflower on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Nebraska (1895).
