While we don't have a date for the founding of Hyannis, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was on a map dated 1895.

Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Hyannis had an population of 187 people. This is an increase of 2.75% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 34.84% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Hyannis had a population of 182 people (which is 29.64% of the total population of Grant County). This makes Hyannis the county's most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 182 people, the population of Hyannis decreased 36.59% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 287 people).
