While we don't have the exact location of Hainesville , we believe that it would have been located within present day Holt County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Hainesville, you might consider that their post office opened in 1879.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Hainesville was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>

From that list, the Hainesville post office opened in 1879.

We also found Hainesville on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Nebraska (1895).
