Welcome to Dennison ...

So far, we found very little information about Dennison. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Dennison to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Dennison - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Dennison, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Dennison , we believe that it would have been located within present day Boone County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Dennison, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was on a map dated 1895.

Time Zone: The area where Dennison was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Dennison was on a map titled Map of Nebraska (from Rand McNally, 1895).
