Welcome to Day ...

So far, we found very little information about Day. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Day to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Day - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Day, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Day , we believe that it would have been located within present day Deuel County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Day, you might consider that their post office opened in 1890.

Time Zone: The area where Day was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time

Day would have been located in the (308) area code.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Day was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Day post office opened in 1890.

We also found Day on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Nebraska (1895).
