Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Cushing had an population of 33 people. This is an increase of 3.12% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 6.45% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Cushing had a population of 32 people. This makes Cushing the county's 7th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 32 people, the population of Cushing increased 3.23% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 31 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Cushing was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>
