Welcome to Coburn ...

So far, we found very little information about Coburn. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Coburn to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Coburn - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Coburn, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Coburn , we believe that it would have been located within present day Dakota County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Coburn, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was on a map dated 1895.

Time Zone: The area where Coburn was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

If Coburn still existed, it would have been in the (402) & (531)<3> area codes.

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 15 communities that are also named Coburn - they are located in California, Colorado, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana (2), Maine, New Brunswick, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania (2), Texas and West Virginia.
