Welcome to Bromfield ...

So far, we found very little information about Bromfield. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Bromfield to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Bromfield - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Bromfield, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Bromfield , we believe that it would have been located within present day Hamilton County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Bromfield, you might consider that their post office opened in 1887.

Time Zone: The area where Bromfield was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Bromfield was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>

From that list, the Bromfield post office opened in 1887.

We also found Bromfield on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Nebraska (1895).
