Welcome to Blanche ...

So far, we found very little information about Blanche. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Blanche would have been located within present day Chase County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Blanche, you might consider that their post office opened in 1887.

Note: If you travel east from Blanche (for example, toward Wellfleet), you will leave Mountain Time and cross into the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT).

The earliest source (so far) we've referenced which mentioned Blanche was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>

From that list, the Blanche post office opened in 1887. The Blanche post office closed in 1920.
