While we don't have a date for the founding of Barada, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

The origin (or the toponymy) of Barada: Named after Antoine (or Antonine) Barada (1807-1887); a French-Omaha settler on the Nemaha Half-Breed Reservation.

From the  Census Estimates for 2019, Barada has a population of 23 people<2> (see below for details).

Barada is 1,110 feet [338 m] above sea level.<3>.

Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Barada had an population of 23 people. This is a decrease of 4.17% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 17.86% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Barada had a population of 24 people. This makes Barada the county's 10th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 24 people, the population of Barada decreased 14.29% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 28 people).
