Welcome to Pearidge ...

So far, we found very little information about Pearidge. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Pearidge to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Pearidge - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Pearidge, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Pearidge , we believe that it would have been located within present day Polk County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Pearidge, you might consider that their post office opened in 1892.

Time Zone: The area where Pearidge was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Using our Gazetteer, we found another community named Pearidge - it's located in South Carolina.

Adding Pearidge to Our Gazetteer ...

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Pearidge was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Pearidge post office opened in 1892.

We also found Pearidge on a map titled Rand McNally Map of North Carolina (1911).
