While we don't have a date for the founding of Arthurette, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was on a map dated 1897.

Time Zone: Arthurette lies in the Atlantic Time Zone (AST/ADT) and observes daylight saving time. The time zone in French: AST- Heure Normale de l'Atlantique (HNA), ADT- Heure Avancée de l'Atlantique (HAA).

Note: If you travel west from Arthurette (for example, toward Fort Fairfield (ME)), you will leave Atlantic Time and cross into the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT).

<1>When there's a risk of an area code running out of phone numbers, an 'Overlay Area Code' is created that has the same geographic boundaries as the existing area code. In this case, the 506 code has been Overlayed with the 428 area code. New phone numbers in the Arthurette area will be assigned with one of these codes: 506 or 428. As a result, placing a call in the Arthurette area will require 10-digit dialing (where you enter both the area code and then the phone number).
