While our initial information about Red Lodge came from various goverment sources (GNIS, US Census, FIPS), we also found mention of Red Lodge in various books and other sources.

Services available in 1895: had a Post Office, a Railroad Station, an Express Office

Red Lodge is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>
