So far, we found very little information about Phon. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Phon would have been located within present day Garfield County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Phon, you might consider that their post office opened in 1915.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Phon is 2,480 feet [756 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the altitude of Phon is about ½ mile above sea level.

Time Zone: The area where Phon was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Phon was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>
