From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Lothair was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Lothair post office opened in 1910.

We also found Lothair on a map titled Hixson Map of Montana (1950).
