Welcome to Freedom ...So far, we found very little information about Freedom. While we don't have a date for the founding of Freedom, you might consider that their post office opened in 1914. While the community is gone, the present day location for Freedom is 2,850 feet [869 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Freedom is about ½ mile above sea level.
