At the time of the 2010 Census, Sartell had a population of 15,876 people (or 10.53% of the total population of Stearns County). This makes Sartell the county's 2nd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 15,876 people, the population of Sartell increased 64.67% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 9,641 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Sartell was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>
