From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Ray was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>
From that list, the Ray post office opened in 1907.
We also found Ray mentioned on a train schedule titled Canadian National Railroad Time Tables (October 1960).
