Welcome to Enterprise ...

So far, we found very little information about Enterprise. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Enterprise to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Enterprise - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Enterprise, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Enterprise , we believe that it would have been located within present day Winona County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Enterprise, you might consider that their post office opened in 1860.

Time Zone: The area where Enterprise was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

Enterprise would have been located in the (507) area code.

Adding Enterprise to Our Gazetteer ...

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Enterprise was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Enterprise post office opened in 1860.

We also found Enterprise in the book titled List of Post Offices in the United States (1870).
