From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Bruno was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>

From that list, the Bruno post office opened in 1896.

We also found Bruno mentioned on a train schedule titled Burlington Northern Railroad Time Tables (April 1970).
