The community of Ann Arbor is the Seat for Washtenaw County.

Washtenaw County was founded ?. Washtenaw was created by taking area from Wayne and Oakland Counties.

From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Washtenaw had a population of 368,242 people. This is an increase of 6.8% since the last Census (which gave a population of 344,791 people in 2010).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Washtenaw represented 3.49% of the total population of Michigan.
