Osceola County was founded ?. Osceola was created by taking area from Mason, Newaygo and Mecosta Counties.

From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Osceola had a population of 23,394 people. This is a decrease of 0.57% since the last Census (which gave a population of 23,528 people in 2010).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Osceola represented 0.24% of the total population of Michigan.
