How Far From Pioneer Hills to ...
We spend a lot of time looking through Gazetteers & Almanacs that were published in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Many of the Gazetteers include the distance from a community such as Pioneer Hills to various places of note, such as the White House.
With a nod to our favorite Gazetteers, the straight-line distance<1> beginning in Pioneer Hills and extending to:
- Rockville, which is the Seat of Montgomery County, lies just to the East Southeast.
- Annapolis, which is the State Capital of Maryland, lies 44 miles [70.8 km]<1> to the east southeast (ESE).
