We aren't confident of the location of Paradise, so consider the above location as an estimate.<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Paradise, you might consider that their post office opened in 1852. While the community is gone, the present day location for Paradise is 400 feet [122 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Paradise was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time Note: If you leave Paradise and travel east, you will leave Central Time and cross into the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT). If Paradise still existed, it would have been in the (270) area code. Going back to its beginning, Paradise was originally named Stom's Landing.
