Welcome to Hulette ...

So far, we found very little information about Hulette. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Hulette to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Hulette - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Hulette, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Hulette , we believe that it would have been located within present day Lawrence County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Hulette, you might consider that their post office opened in 1900.

Time Zone: The area where Hulette was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Hulette was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Hulette post office opened in 1900.

We also found Hulette on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Kentucky (1911).
