Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Ripley had an population of 83 people. This is a decrease of 3.49% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 19.42% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Ripley had a population of 86 people. This makes Ripley the county's 4th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 86 people, the population of Ripley decreased 16.5% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 103 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Ripley was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Ripley post office opened in 1837.

We also found Ripley in the book titled Table of U.S. Post Offices in the United States (Jan. 1851).
