At the time of the 2010 Census, Morrison had a population of 4,188 people (or 7.16% of the total population of Whiteside County). This makes Morrison the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of Morrison represents 0.03% of the population of Illinois (which has 12,830,632 people), making it the state's 367th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 4,188 people, the population of Morrison decreased 5.82% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 4,447 people).
