From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Ucon was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<9>

From that list, the Ucon post office opened in 1910.

We also found Ucon mentioned on a train schedule titled Union Pacific Railroad Time Tables (June 1939).
