Welcome to Lodi ...So far, we found very little information about Lodi. The location of Lodi has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Lodi, you might consider that their post office opened in 1896. While the community is gone, the present day location for Lodi is 5,200 feet [1,585 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the altitude of Lodi is about 1 mile [or ~1½ km] above sea level. Time Zone: The area where Lodi was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time The location where Lodi once stood is in the (208) and (986)<5> area codes.
