Power County was founded in 1913. Power was created by taking area from Bingham, Blaine and Oneida Counties. From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Power had a population of 7,636 people. This is a decrease of 2.32% since the last Census (which gave a population of 7,817 people in 2010). At the time of the 2010 Census, Power represented 0.5% of the total population of Idaho.
