The community of Blackfoot is the Seat for Bingham County.
Bingham County was founded in 1885 and was created by taking area from Oneida County.
From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Bingham had a population of 46,772 people. This is an increase of 2.55% since the last Census (which gave a population of 45,607 people in 2010).
At the time of the 2010 Census, Bingham represented 2.91% of the total population of Idaho.
