While we don't have a date for the founding of Kawailoa, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was on a map dated 1956.
While the community is gone, the present day location for Kawailoa is 550 feet [168 m] above sea level.<3>.
Time Zone: The area where Kawailoa was located is in the Hawaiian/Aleutian Standard Time Zone (HST) and does not observe daylight saving time
