Time Zone: Dade County lies in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time.

The community of Trenton is the Seat for Dade County.

Dade County was founded in 1837 and was created by taking area from Walker County.

From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Dade had a population of 16,103 people. This is a decrease of 3.19% since the last Census (which gave a population of 16,633 people in 2010).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Dade represented 0.17% of the total population of Georgia.
