Miscellaneous References and Mentions
While our initial data about Sears came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Sears in various books, maps and other sources. When we find a mention, a fact or snippet, we add that information to our Gazetter.

The Sears post office opened in 1926 and had closed by 1942.
