Unfortunately our sources aren't clear about the location of McRae other than they indicate that McRae would be found somewhere in Clay County, Florida. From the Blevins / Hellbock List: The post office opened in 1883 and closed in 1916. Communities Also Named McRae ...We found ten communities that share the name McRae. Within Florida, the name McRae is unique. Beyond Florida, we know of another ten communities that are located throughout in the United States and Canada. Of these ten communities, nine are located in the United States and one is in Canada.
