From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Charlotte had a population of 189,669 people. This is an increase of 18.56% since the last Census (which gave a population of 159,978 people in 2010).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Charlotte represented 0.85% of the total population of Florida.
