So far, we found very little information about Kenwood. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Kenwood , we believe that it would have been located within present day Fremont County<2>.
While we don't have a date for the founding of Kenwood, you might consider that their post office opened in 1926.
Time Zone: The area where Kenwood was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.
The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Kenwood was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>
From that list, the Kenwood post office opened in 1926.
