So far, we found very little information about Hiawatha. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Hiawatha would have been located within present day Moffat County<2>.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Hiawatha is 7,140 feet [2,176 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Hiawatha is about 1¼ mile [or ~2¼ km] above sea level.
