Welcome to Brunker ...

So far, we found very little information about Brunker. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Brunker to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of Brunker , we believe that it would have been located within present day Washington County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Brunker, you might consider that their post office opened in 1907.

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Brunker was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Brunker post office opened in 1907.
