Welcome to Bath ...

So far, we found very little information about Bath. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Bath to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Bath - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Bath, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Bath , we believe that it would have been located within present day Park County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Bath, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

Time Zone: The area where Bath was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time

Adding Bath to Our Gazetteer ...

As we work on our Gazetteer, we occasionally find mention of a community that is new to us. When we find such a community, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope of adding more information in the future.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Bath was in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).

Footnotes ...

<1>We use the term 'Historic' broadly and it generally means that the community no longer exists. However, it can also mean that the community might still exist, but was significantly larger or had a more 'official' existence in the past than it does now. Unfortunately our sources of data have proven to be unreliable. If you can provide us with more specific information about Bath, please let us know so that we can improve our accuracy.
<2>If you're interested in how the shape of Colorado's counties, including Park, have changed over time, we recommend the Atlas of Historical County Boundaries.
