Welcome to Butedale ...

Butedale is located on Princess Royal Island.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Butedale, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was on a map dated 1956.

The origin (or the toponymy) of Butedale: Named after John Stuart (1713-1792), the 3rd Earl of Bute.

Butedale is 1,810 feet [552 m] above sea level.<1>.

Time Zone: Butedale lies in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time. The time zone in French: PST- Heure Normale du Pacifique (HNP), PDT- Heure Avancée du Pacifique (HAP).
