Welcome to Sims ...So far, we found very little information about Sims. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Sims to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. The location of Sims has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While the community is gone, the present day location for Sims is 220 feet [67 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Sims was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time Note: If you leave Sims and travel east, you will leave Central Time and cross into the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT). Sims would have been located in the (870) area code. Communities Also Named Sims ...Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Arkansas communities named Sims: This one is located in Mississippi County and the other is located in Montgomery County.
