At the time of the 2010 Census, Midway had a population of 389 people. This makes Midway the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of Midway represents 0.01% of the total population of Arkansas (which has 2,915,918 people), making it the state's 311st most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 389 people, the population of Midway increased 8.66% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 358 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Midway was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Midway post office opened in 1850.

We also found Midway in the book titled Table of U.S. Post Offices in the United States (Jan. 1851).
