While we don't have the exact location of Jenkin's Ferry , we believe that it would have been located within present day Grant County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Jenkin's Ferry, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1871.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Jenkin's Ferry was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Jenkin's Ferry post office opened in 1871.

We also found Jenkin's Ferry on a map titled William Bradley Map (1889).
