Miscellaneous References and MentionsWhile our initial data about Ink came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Ink in various books, maps and other sources. When we find a mention, a fact or snippet, we add that information to our Gazetter. We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Ink. We hope that they will be useful to you. Ink is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1> From that list: The Ink post office opened in 1887 and had closed by 1967.
