Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Conway had an population of 67,380 people. This is an increase of 14.38% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 56.09% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Conway had a population of 58,908 people (or 52.02% of the total population of Faulkner County). This makes Conway the county's most populous community.

The population of Conway represents 2.02% of the population of Arkansas (which has 2,915,918 people), making it the state's 7th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 58,908 people, the population of Conway increased 36.47% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 43,167 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Conway was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Conway post office opened in 1871.
