While we don't have the exact location of Columbia, we believe that it would have been located within present day Chicot County<1>.

The following counties adjoin and form the boundaries of Chicot County: Ashley, Desha, Drew, East Carroll (LA), West Carroll (LA), Issaquena (MS) & Washington (MS). The Mississippi River runs along the eastern border of the county.
