Susannah would have been located within present day Tallapoosa County<2>.
While we don't have a date for the founding of Susannah, you might consider that their post office opened in 1880. The community was inundated by Martin Lake.

Adding Susannah to Our Gazetteer ...
The earliest source (so far) we've referenced which mentioned Susannah was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>
From that list, the Susannah post office opened in 1880, with the post office name of Susanna. The Susannah post office closed in 1907.
